New Models of Care
The New Models of Care programme involves a number of projects to make transformational changes to diagnostic pathways which will ultimately contribute to improving early diagnosis across West Yorkshire and Harrogate.
Working collaboratively with partners across the region, we will be:
- Implementing the national specification for Rapid Diagnostic Centres to cover all suspected cancer referrals by the end of 2023/24
- Rolling out teledermatology across the patch
- Connecting wider developments in diagnostics, workforce and primary care to support earlier diagnosis of cancer
We're working with colleagues across providers, commissioning, primary care and other strategic programmes, patient and professional groups to ensure that the New Models of Care programme is well-supported and well-connected with other strategies and programmes.
