Our Cancer Alliance has celebrated International Women's Day with a social media focus on the inspirational women who contribute to our work in a wide variety of significant ways.
Marina Bloj, (below left) Professor Visual Perception at the University of Bradford, leads our Patient Experience work programme, and is working to put patient experience in a par with clinical outcomes. She has a strong interest in the ethical and societal impact of research and technology, and also innovation and technology in healthcare.
Charlotte Rock (right), is a Macmillan Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist in Harrogate. Her job is to ensure that patients approaching the end of their life receive the very best care possible.
